TACOFREDAG OCH JESUS – KAN MAN SKÄMTA OM ALLT? En studie om kommunikation och humor med utgångspunkt i Svenska kyrkans Twitterkonto.

Abstract
Communication is key to interactions between people, in person as well as online. Humor used well can contribute to this. This case study examines how the Swedish church uses humor to communicate on Twitter and how their tweets are received. The study is built on my analysis of the reception of five tweets from the Swedish church and interviews with a representative from the church, as well as previous research and humor theories. It uses discourse analysis to help reveal underlying structures that affects how the tweets are received. The aim is to answer the question how communicators can learn from the churches experience and use humor in their work.
