INNE ELLER UTE? Flexicurity som lösning på en arbetsmarknad uppdelad mellan insiders och outsiders
INNE ELLER UTE? Flexicurity som lösning på en arbetsmarknad uppdelad mellan insiders och outsiders
Abstract
This thesis intends to see if countries with flexicurity have a less dualized labour market between insiders and outsiders, due to a higher balance between flexibility and security. Previous research has in various ways measured the impact of flexicurity on the labour market as well as the state of the dualization between insiders and outsiders. Instead, these two will be combined, together with a risk-based definition of insiders and outsiders. To this a new potential outsider group, migrants, will be added to the analysis. With a comparison between flexicurity countries this thesis reaches the conclusion that it cannot be argued for that a flexicurity with a high balance have less dualized labour markets. A conclusion that is drawn is that migrants are in fact a group with a large risk to becoming outsiders on the labour market but that more research is needed in this area.
