A the chair as representative an exploring work on added value through aesthetics and function. The project deals with portraying a chair. A chair that will raise questions regarding added value, questioning our surroundings and not taking things for granted. Through a number of properly selected words, I have built a collection of objects that possess the basis of a chair. The words are based on sources of inspiration; I picked up over the years and can be seen as a part of me and my inner self. Questions I asked myself concerns the impact of aesthetic and how it relates to the function. Can these two terms be separated? The project resulted in a chair that in many ways differs from other chairs, but nevertheless inherits all the initial values as a piece of furniture in a room.sv
