The project Examination in IT-based distance education aims to provide good and innovative forms of examination. The project has been executed through questionnaires, regional seminars and establishment of a project website. The project Examination in IT-based distance education aims to provide good and innovative forms of examination. The project has been executed through questionnaires, regional seminars and establishment of a project website. One other aspect derived from the result is that there is a lack of innovative solutions for web-based examination and the need for further development and distribution of these examination solutions is apparent. Cooperation and sharing between faculties/areas of expertise does not show as an obstacle in the results. However the activity is low in this area. The examples of examination that has proven most successful and possible to develop further are the ones designed to be an integrated part of the learning process.swe
