Abstract

The labour union has been through some major changes since the swedish adoptation of the free movement that came with the membership of the EU. The aim of this essay is to see how the construction union in sweden had to change their way of working with the labourmarket with these changes. I intend to use the theory of neofunctionalism to describe in what way the union did change its ways. The method i intend to use is a document analysis in wich i will go through the unions own membership magazine to see how the union itself reported the shift in their work. My result shows that there was a big impact in the union ways from 2004 until 2017 but the shift that came in 2017 was to resent to see any conclusive effects of.
