Abstract

This essay constitutes the written component of my MFA project and examines the development, realization, and presentation of my final performance, Tellus°#3: Sympoiesis. It explores the underlying artistic intentions and motivations, as well as the practical and conceptual challenges of the process. With particular attention to collaborative and participatory methodologies and the broader idea of Tellus° as a public art platform. The text further analyzes the recurring tendency in my practice toward large-scale, complex, and time-intensive productions, often approaching the format of a Gesamtkunstwerk, a multi-medial art work. While the MFA process has involved experimentation with multiple formats, this essay focuses primarily on Tellus°#3: Sympoiesis, situating it within the context of contemporary performance art.
