	As part of the 150th anniversary of Valand Academy, A-venue is hosted the platform, Meaning Making Meaning, curated by artist Gabo Camnitzer, exploring the interface between art and pedagogy, seeking to situate artistic pedagogical practice not only as the domain of art education, but something with relevance to all areas of education. Meaning Making Meaning featured a broad spectrum of teachers, educational theorists and artists involved in teaching, and spans a variety of settings from early childhood to higher education, inside and outside of institutional structures. The platform consists of three components: an exhibition; a workshop series; and a reading room.	sv

	Untitled (Chalk Board) was a 1 x 1 m painted chalk board installed into the exhibition, interrogating an historic format of making meaning within a traditional pedagogic format but repurposed to quote from radical education histories. A quote was chalked onto the board daily by a gallery guide/invigilator.	sv
