Abstract

This project tells of the journey of making in connection to the seasons. It is a personal investigation, diving into the process and investigating the positive values in being grounded in making. It also combines metal work, spinning, weaving and filming, and explores the interactions between these different practises. Diving in traditional craft, the project aims to find the meeting point with today´s technological world. This report is tries to find a balance between poetic and analytical, hopefully guiding the reader through this project. The results of this project are manifested in a physical piece Brume, combining tin soldering, spinning, and weaving, as well as a 20min video documenting the process of making this piece.
