Abstract
Bakgrund: Denna uppsats är utförd av en student inom det Folkhälsovetenskapliga programmet vid Göteborgs universitet som ett uppdrag från stadsdelsförvaltningen (SDF) Askim-Frölunda-Högsbo i Göteborg. Uppdraget formades utifrån ett behov av en ny verksamhet med ett familjecentrerat arbetssätt i form av en familjecentral för familjer med barn i åldern 6-12 år. Familjecentralen kommer att vara placerad i området Frölunda.
Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats var att beskriva och fördjupa förståelsen av begreppet familjecentral ur ett folkhälsovetenskapligt perspektiv. Ett särskilt fokus ligger på verksamheter som är riktade till barn i åldern 6-12 år.
Metod: Walker och Avants (2011) modell för begreppsanalys.
Resultat: De definierande attribut som analysen ledde fram till var följande: Samverkan, gemensamma mål och värdegrund, hälsofrämjande, förebyggande och stödjande åtgärder och användarna. Det skapade modellfallet liksom gränsfallen visade på en förtydligad bild av begreppets innebörd. I resultatdiskussionen diskuterades begreppets valda attribut.
Slutsats: Genom att förtydliga begreppets betydelse och användningsområden är förhoppningen att detta kan användas vid kommunikation om nya familjecentraler.
Description
Background: This paper was performed by a student in the Public Health Sciences program at the University of Gothenburg as a mandate from the district administration (SDF) Askim-Frölunda-Högsbo in Gothenburg. The assignment was formed on the basis of a need for a new service with a family-centered approach in the form of a family center for families with children aged 6-12 years. The family center will be located in the Frölunda area.
Aim: The purpose of this paper was to describe and deepen the understanding of the concept of a family center from a public health perspective. A particular focus was put on interventions that are aimed at children aged 6-12 years.
Method: Walker and Avants (2011) model for concept analysis
Results: The defined attributes that the analysis led to were the following: Collaboration, Health Promotion, Prevention and Support services and the Visitors. The created model case and the borderline cases showed a clearer picture of the concepts meaning. The result discussed the selected attributes of the concept.
Conclusion: By clarifying the meaning of the concept and its uses this can hopefully be used for communication about new family centers.
