This study critically examines SD-Women's view on honor-related violence and oppression and how SD-Women believes Sweden’s government should counteract honor-related violence and oppression. It explores the ideologies structured in a parliamentary bill by SD- Women from 2015 called Åtgärdsprogram- hedersrelaterat våld (translated to action program- honor-related violence). The theoretical framework of this study is grounded in nationalism, gendered nationalism studies and intersectionality. This study employs an ideology analysis of one document, the parliamentary bill from 2015. The results identify a clear nationalist foundation in the parliamentary bill as well as subordination of women. Additionally, the four Ps of ideological composition were analyzed in relation to the parliamentary bill. The study further analyzed the parliamentary bill through an intersectional perspective. The conclusions that could be drawn are that SD-Women create a dichotomy between ‘Swedish’ values and honor culture where ‘Swedish’ values are good and honor culture is bad.sv
