AKK till barn och unga med flerfunktionsnedsättning - en enkätstudie om svenska logopeders AKK-implementering inom barn- och ungdomshabiliteringen

| The purpose of this study was to examine Swedish SLPs implementation of AAC to children and adolescents with Profound Intellectual and Multiple Disabilities (PIMD). Survey responses were collected and analysed from 81 respondents in 8 regions. The result showed that AAC was offered to a high extent with no significant difference regarding regional affiliation. Furthermore, no correlation was found between how often AAC is offered and clinical experience. Elementary forms of AAC and graphic AAC vocabulary designs were implemented to a greater extent than more advanced forms and high technology AAC. A higher percentage of work towards patients with PIMD was associated with higher implementation of several types of AAC and vocabulary designs. On the contrary, years of clinical experience and amount of further education were associated with lower AAC implementation. Regional affiliation was not seen to affect the implementation of AAC and vocabulary designs. | sv | |
| Studiens syfte var att undersöka svenska logopeders AKK-implementering till barn och unga med flerfunktionsnedsättning inom barn- och ungdomshabiliteringen. Enkätsvar från 81 respondenter ur 8 regioner samlades in och analyserades. Resultatet visade att AKK-insatser erbjuds i hög utsträckning och ingen signifikant skillnad sågs gällande regiontillhörighet. Inte heller sågs något samband mellan hur ofta AKK erbjuds och klinisk erfarenhet. Enklare former av AKK implementerades i högre utsträckning än mer avancerad och högteknologisk AKK. Högre andel arbetstid associerades med en högre implementeringsfrekvens av ett flertal AKK-typer och vokabulärutformningar. Antal arbetade år och antal genomförda vidareutbildningar associerades istället med en lägre implementering. Regiontillhörighet sågs inte påverka vilka AKK-typer och vokabulärutformningar av grafisk AKK som implementerades. | sv | |
