I dina ögon finns alla stjärnor

Abstract

There is a little lady sitting at the bottom of the lake, longing to see you again and keep you close... My work started with a poem I wrote on a rainy day in November. A poem about love, longing and a crippling sense of sadness. With my installation, I wanted to take the emotions from the poem and bring them into our world, as a fragment from a story. I created a place for reflection in a magical world, so similar to ours. I guide you, through stories of mythology and how it inspired my process. Working with a mix of textile and metal to build my character and the world she lives in.
