The primary objective of this qualitative academic report entails a comprehensive investigation into the manner which Swedish organizations address health concerns specifically pertaining to women. Emphasis is placed on pregnancy, menstruation and menopause. Given the qualitative nature of this report, interviews have been utilized as the principal means of gathering pertinent information. The interviews have been held with managers and employees from organizations of different character, in order to widen the perspective of the report. To carry out the examination the authors have used prior studies concerning the matter of the report, in conjunction with the incorporation of four carefully selected theories, relevant for the primary objective. The conducted interviews revealed that organizations lack a specific framework for addressing female health-related manners, mainly due to limited awareness. The lack of comprehensive understanding leads to deprioritization of matters regarding female health. Although, the interview uncovered the existence of possible actions, in order to engage with women-specific health dimensions. The outcomes derived from the interviews have been thoroughly analyzed and compared with the selected theories, resulting in an analysis. The mentioned aspects have led the authors to propose a potential solution, which entails initially challenging the prevailing societal taboos surrounding women-related health issues. Reducing the taboo will result in increased awareness of the subject matter and an understanding that it is a problem requiring a solution. The proposed solution entails an understanding and inclusive approach, where flexibility is encouraged. This, followed by an official change in the collective bargaining agreement, through removing the ‘waiting day’.en
