Faktorer under ledares uppväxt som påverkar deras förhållande som ledare
Factors during childhood and adolescence that influence the attitudes of leaders
Abstract
I denna uppsats studerades några
upplevdes. Signifikanta korrelationer fanns bl.a. mellan variabeln Secure
Abstract: Leadership characteristics are founded on earlier experiences;
however, little is known about how they emerge. In this study, factors in the
family setting (attachment classification, the support from the parents, and
influences of siblings) that are assumed to have influenced the leaders'
development were studied. In a cross-sectional study, 43 leaders (8 women and
35 men) were administered a survey about their opinions regarding close
relations (ECR and RQ) and their family of origin. One subordinate for each
leader replied to a survey regarding how the leadership of the leader was
perceived. Significant correlations were found, for example, between the
variable Secure attachment and the leadership style Task oriented (including
a weak correlation to the leadership style Decision oriented), as well as
between the variable Dismissing attachment and the leadership style Decision
oriented. A conclusion was that experiences during the early development
leave observable and partially decisive traces in leadership.
