Abstract
Purpose:
This study aims to improve the understanding of the challenges and opportunities to develop new competencies and implement new learnings in project-based organisations for the labour market integration of foreign-born unemployed citizens. The thesis is informed by the case of Landa integration and R&D, an ESF-founded integration project anchored in Finsam Gothenburg.
Theory:
Transformative learning, single-loop and double-loop learning Method:
Qualitative, semi-structured interviews and observations.
Result:
The results show that learning has occurred both on an individual and organisational level. However, the extent and degree vary. The challenges and opportunities refer to time and institutional structure. Depending on their relationship they could either enable or hinder learning.
