| art.description.project | ArtMadeThis är ett urbant konstprojekt där över 100 lovande kvinnliga konstnärer redan fått möjligheten att sätta sin prägel på lika många fasadpartier i Sveriges fyra största städer samt 8 konstnärer i Varbergs kommun. Efter fem lyckade år av samarbete mellan kreatören Ali Davoodi och fastighetsbolaget Vasakronan, bestämmer de sig för att under sommaren 2020 fortsätta med projektet ArtMadeThis, vars huvudmål är att skapa attraktivare och mer kreativa stadsmiljöer med hjälp av kvinnliga konstnärer. Parterna såg chansen att få lyfta fram just kvinnliga konstnärer som de inte anser är lika väl representerade som männen på gatukonstscenen.
Through an Open Call you can apply for a wall to put a permanent artwork. I used the opportunity to also incorporate a videopiece with the same name as this. Because of it´s permanent installation and durability in a very dirty environment, I needed to come up with a material that could show photography. The projects technical aspects was the most important part this time. The stills from moving images held a feeling of that special aura of a moving object/subject. Because of the permanent place in a parking lot, the stills made a reminder of a nature and a world outside the parkingspace. In this time of restricted traveling the stills made a metasituation when you drove by.

energy and sublimity. Visiting vortices and fantastic nature. The quest to be happy and calm leads you to a stressful ordeal that, in addition to commitment, costs money. Society with its ever-present wear and tear creates yet another pattern of consumption in finding oneself and winding down. A privileged, spiritual tourism.
The work consists of documentation made at the Grand Canyon, Glen Canyon, Joshua Tree, Antelope Canyon, Sedona in the US.
