art.description.projectThe Art Card Games was presented in it's first edition at the exhibition KonstFeminism. KonstFeminism was shown at a number of museums throughout Sweden between 2005 and 2007, and comprised more than 100 participants presenting work from 1965 and onwards. To further expand the multitude of women artists, Kerstin Diedrich produced an art-cardgame, consisting of 54 cards, each representing a female artist. This project led to the establishment of the organization Art-Cardgames, which has produced a second card game in Sweden, and now one in Germany. All artists involved work without a fee, and each Art-Cardgame is printed in 10 000 copies. The German Art-Cardgames were presented at the Swedish Embassy in Berlin on January 12th in the presence of Swedish cultural attaché Marika Lagerkranz. Participating artists were Pia Linz, Anneke Eussen, Ada Van Hoorebeke, Antje Scholz, Almut Müller, Andrea Streit, Heike Reissig, Susanne Hoch, Edit Billinger, Sadra Haselsteiner, Sheila Barcik, Sandra Schmidt, Bridge Markland, Regine Kuschke, Andrea Brussig, Heike Keller, Sylvia Betke, Tanja Zimmerman, Ulrike Dossman, Katharina Lewonig, Thea Timm, Jessika Hutchins, Janine Eggert, Mandy Friedrich, Sylvia Christina Händel, Susanne Jung, Paola Neumann, Dafni Barbageorgpoulou, Veronica Brovall, Cornelia Schlemmer, Susanne Hroada, Haleh Redjaian, Justin Wodtke, Hildegard Skowasch, Antonia Low, Jenny Michel, Katrin Von Maltzahn, Nicole Emrich, Carola Rümper, Annika Larsson, Kerstin Diedrich, Åsa Elzén, Ninia Sverdrup, Kajsa Dahlberg, Sofie Hultén, Klara Lidén, Malin Arnell, Maria Bajt, Nina Canell, Gittan Jönsson, Ulrika Segerberg, Annika Lundgren, Sarah Luettchen and Lisa Holmgren.
