kommunikationsträning till närtsående till personer med Parkinsons sjukdom - en pilotstudie
Abstract
The study explored how a model for conversation partner training
worked for family members of people with Parkinson's disease. Participants in
the study were three dyads consisting of persons with PD and their carers. The
purpose of the study consisted in finding out whether the participants
experienced a change in communication after the intervention, and in finding
out if this potential change could be observed in the conversation. The results
showed that 4/6 participants experienced an improvement in communication
after the intervention. This improvement was however not observed in the
conversation. The result of the study indicated that the conversation training
model worked well, as the majority of participants experienced an
improvement in communication after the intervention. However, further
studies should be performed to determine if a perceived difference could be
more clearly seen in the conversation.
