Abstract: Apolipoprotein E (apoE) is a constitute of several lipoprotein particles with an important role in lipid metabolism in the brain. ApoE has been suggested to have a function in synaptic remodeling after injury. ApoE exist in three major isoforms, apoE2, E3 and E4.
