Arbetsfördelning och lönesättning inom läraryrket En studie ur ett genusperspektiv

Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine whether there are gender differences in the distribution and allocation of work within the teaching profession, as well as whether there are gender-related differences in the factors influencing wage determination. The study was based on qualitative interviews conducted at various schools in Sweden, using feminist and institutional theory as the theoretical framework. The results indicated that gender structures, personality, and ingrained behaviors significantly influence the types of tasks undertaken and teachers' preferences for collaboration partners. There were no clear gender-related differences in the factors influencing wage determination. Instead, wage determination was more based on each principal's subjective evaluations, with self-development being one of the highly valued factors.
