Abstract

When it comes to logistics and warehouse management, high productivity and cost-cutting are frequent goals in the industry. New approaches to improving warehouse management and its numerous operations are emerging because of the world's fast-expanding digitization. Automated warehouse systems that simplify picking and storing operations is an example of these new innovations. This study examines a business that recently implemented the autonomous storage system AutoStore. It will be examined using pertinent models and theories to determine how the company worked to make the implementation successful, identify important factors, and whether the investment was worthwhile using models for investment calculations and productivity metrics. The information needed to respond to the research questions in the conclusion has been gathered using both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and is based on an in-depth analysis with discussion and calculation based on relevant theory.
