Environmental problems have for a long time been unprioritised in a big part of the world's political management. The problem can be seen both locally and globally, over time the problems have been reduced. In this study we analyze the priorities that local governments do when they are placing new preschools in their municipality. With a big focus on air pollution just because children's health is so exposed by it. The study is done by interviews with officials at local managements at two different municipalities. One that's big and one that's small. In the interviews questions have been asked on how the officials work with placing preschools. The base of the questions asked came from earlier studies around why work around environmental problems have not been prioritized earlier. The answers that I got from the interviews then were compared to the earlier studies and if the problems that have been seen earlier also can be seen in the local municipalities. In big parts the interviews showed that the same problems that have been seen earlier, is also a problem in this area. Even though there are a lot of improvements from 20-30 years ago compared to how it is today.en
