Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to investigate how educator's work environment is affected by digital tools in the classroom. The topic of the report arose due to there is a lack of research that concerns the subject about how the educators' working environment is affected by digital tools.
Theory Theories such as Requirements, Control and Support Model and Borderless Work will be studied in relation to the current interview material and previous research. The previous research that the study highlights, among other things, is which are the biggest work environment-related problems among the educator’s today.
Method The study is a qualitative method with semi-structured interviews. During the interviews, follow-up questions have been continually put to gain a deeper understanding of the problem. The interviews were recorded, further the interviews were transcribed and the relevant themes were coded for help with the analysis part.

Results The result shows that there are shortcomings in the education of skills for the educators. The interviewees have a mixed view of what control they have in the work and about what support they receive from the management. The educators agree that they have high requirements with the curriculum that the teachers must follow. Furthermore, there are also shared opinions about what borderless work means. The problem lies in whether it is boundless work or not when educators seek information about digital tools for teaching at their leisure of personal interest or solely for educational purposes.
