| dc.description.abstract | The Biomedical Laboratory Scientist Programme at Uppsala University has collaboration with Högskolan Dalarna and will start a similar one with Mid Sweden University. For this purpose we applied for and recieved funds from NSHU. This money has been used to arrange meetings with appropriate persons from Högskolan Dalarna and Mid Sweden University and their corresponding County Councils. The collaboration with Mid Sweden University starts autumn 2008. The money was also used for two meetings with all organizers of Biomedical Laboratory Scientist Programme in Sweden during 2007. One result of these meetings was a home page activity (Ping Pong), where all documents, master programmes, films, e-mails etc. of common interest are assembled. Another result was a consensus document concerning the criticism some programmes focusing on Clinical Physiology gotfrom the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education. We agreed that a new programme should be initiated that aimed for a profession in Image and Function analysis, to meet the requirements for future diagnostics within this area. | swe |
